The “Bring on the Learning Revolution” video from Sir Ken Robinson is very inspiring; I have watched it twice. We need a Revolution in our Education System; an evolution is not enough!
Many of my co-workers have left the education field in the last couple of years to explore other areas. When I asked them why? Their answers were very similar, I love to teach, but I don’t have time to do that anymore; my stress level is very high due to testing and documentation. Sadly, passionate teachers had to stop doing what they liked. This is the reason that was stopping me from being a full-time teacher. In this program, I have learned about blending education models. I am convinced that using technology combined with a student-centered approach will benefit everyone. I want to be part of the change!
