Creating a culture of collaboration is very important in every organization. Sometimes we don't realize how much we can learn from the people around us. Everyone we meet has something valuable to teach us. Teamwork facilitates the achievement of goals and increases motivation. In organizations, it is highly valued, but how difficult it is to create a culture of collaboration in some workplaces. Most of the time, co-workers only do the minimum work, what is mandatory, or what benefits them. Where is the culture of collaboration? How can we change that?
My family faced a problem, and we solved it successfully; everyone collaborated for the common goal, the solution. Why is it hard to solve problems in an organization? It's a community; everyone should contribute to reach the organization's goals.
People are resistant to change for different reasons, self-doubt, or because they are in their comfort zone. It does not mean that they don’t have the potential; it is more that they are scared of the change. I am going through a challenge myself; thanks to the feedback from my teacher and peers, it’s been smoother, and I am determined to accomplish my goals.
